Growth Reflects New Ownership and Improved Market Conditions
Minneapolis – January 31, 2011 -- Supply Chain Services, a leading supplier of data capture solutions for the warehouse, distribution and manufacturing markets today reported its 2010 sales results. The 17% top line growth to $10.8 million reflects the combination of the new ownership’s investments to expand the company’s internal resources as well as improved market conditions, especially in the fourth quarter.
“This has been an exciting and transformative year for Supply Chain Services,” said Chip Emery, Owner and CEO. “Since assuming ownership in mid February 2010, we have doubled the sales and technical staff, invested aggressively in professional training and established a marketing/business development capability. Recognizing our core strengths, we are now focused on warehousing , distribution and manufacturing end user markets, while expanding the services offered to customers in these markets. This January we culminated these efforts by hosting our first webinar, which targeted increased efficiencies via mobile device management in the refrigerated warehouse market, where we have a broad installed base. Over 2010 we improved our customer retention and attracted a number of new accounts that bode well for future growth.”
