Meet the new boss, not the same as the old boss!
With apologies to The Who, it’s a delight to say hello to our many long standing customers. In February, 2010 I assumed ownership of Supply Chain Services after many years of managing high tech businesses for large public companies. It’s exhilarating to be part of a small, energetic, and very competent team of professionals serving the data capture markets in North America. I was attracted to Supply Chain for its long track record of successful installations and ongoing relationships as well as the high degree of integrity the company exhibits in standing behind the products and services it provides.
Shortly after coming on board, the management team took a step back to analyze who we are, what we do, and how we do it. The results of that effort indicated that we should concentrate our efforts on the markets we know best: warehousing and distribution as well as those functions within manufacturing companies. After 10 years in business and with over 2,000 installed sites across North America, Supply Chain Services has gained a high degree of in-depth expertise in the areas of data capture hardware and software within the four walls. Consistent with industry trends, we have seen an uptick of interest in field mobility applications from our distribution customers along with an increased demand for remote device management software in the field. Fortunately, our technical staff is well-versed in both of these areas.
Over my years in business I have learned two cardinal rules: 1) Put the customer first and 2) Focus your business efforts on your core competency. We are continuing to apply those rules at Supply Chain. And our business is profitably growing as well. I’m excited about our future and look forward to helping you grow your business with solutions to help you compete efficiently, productively, and profitably.
